Bio

Dr. Nicole Posnick-Wolf joined the Sports & Performance PT family in 2022 after moving to Reno with her husband, Anthony, who completed his degree at UNR. She began her Physical Therapy career 7 years ago in California. Over the years, she has expanded her training into the areas of Concussion and Vestibular Rehabilitation as well as Dance Medicine with a focus on helping individuals recover function and return to the activities that matter most to them.

She aims to personalize each treatment to help patients reach their goals and areas of need. Her approach is research-based with the consideration of biomechanics to address the whole individual and promote long-lasting relief. Utilizing a combination of manual therapy, exercise, and neuromuscular re-education she addresses conditions at the source to optimize movement and improve quality of life. As a dancer from a young age, Nicole plans to incorporate techniques of her passion into her therapeutic practice.

A certified Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association, Nicole relishes the opportunity to pass on knowledge and accumulated experiences to assist in teaching the next generation of Physical Therapists.

Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and their son, who they welcomed in 2023. A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, she hopes to create a welcoming environment to anyone and be a change in the realm of medical care. She is looking forward to exploring Nevada more, spending time outdoors to hike or snowboard, and hopes to return to her dancing roots.
