At Sports & Performance Physical Therapy, we are dedicated to fostering the education and development of future physical therapists and athletic trainers. We understand the importance of providing opportunities for students to engage with experienced clinicians who are passionate about teaching and guiding the next generation in sports and dance medicine.
As a certified Clinical Instructor facility, we welcome current PT/PTA students to contact their University or School’s Clinical Coordinator to initiate the necessary paperwork for a potential rotation at our facility. We provide a supportive environment for students to gain valuable hands-on experience and learn from our expert clinicians.
For students working towards applying to PT/PTA school, we offer the opportunity to volunteer in our clinic for observation hours. To coordinate observation time with our clinic, we request that one of your current professors contact our office. This experience will provide valuable insights into the field and help you make informed decisions about your future career.
We welcome high school students interested in pursuing a career in Physical Therapy, Sports Medicine, or Athletic Training to spend time observing in our clinic. This hands-on experience will allow you to gain a deeper understanding of these fields and help you determine if this path is right for you. Please have your High School Sports Medicine Teacher contact our office to set up a potential observation with our clinic. In addition to our educational opportunities, we also provide resources to help you further your knowledge in the fields of Physical Therapy, Sports Medicine, and Athletic Training.
